About Us

Jackson Dental Laboratory started in August of 1980 and was initially located in Jackson, Minnesota. By 1985, the majority of our work was coming from dentists in Fairmont, Minnesota, so the decision was made to move the laboratory to Fairmont. The move also helped insure our foothold in the area, and deterred any new laboratories from opening in the area. Today our name is JacksonFairmont Dental Laboratory, and we continue to serve the same area dentists that have remained loyal customers. Their support has allowed us to expand our services to many other states. I have a lot of respect and gratitude for these dentists and their wonderful staff, and I am very proud to say that we continue to provide laboratory services to dentists that I worked with in 1980. Thank You!

In the early days, our services were limited PFM’s and full cast restorations because implants, pressed ceramics, and metal free bridges were yet considered. Now, almost thirty years later, implants, pressed ceramics, and metal free bridges are common practice. We construct a full spectrum of restorations using the latest technologies and materials available. Pressed ceramics, Emax, Zirconia, Ivocap, and CAD-CAM capabilities are just a few of the many innovative options we offer. During our 29 years, we have custom fabricated nearly a quarter of a million crown and bridge units. Whether it’s an Implant case or a flipper you prescribe, we have the technology, knowledge, and experience to consistently meet your expectations. Our technicians attend many hours of continuing education each year including courses covering infection control to high end esthetic. In addition to the training outside of the laboratory, we have an in-house trainer that over sees our commitment to excellence.

JacksonFairmont Dental Laboratory has much to offer in addition to our fine craftsmanship. We offer free lunch and learn PowerPoint presentations with CE credits, three different CAD-CAM systems to accept oral scans, seminars from leaders in our industry, and much more. Early in 2008, we made a decision to open a removable department. We knew to be successful it would have to be as good as our fixed department. We began by hiring the right people and purchasing the best systems and equipment. Then we made a commitment to our standard of quality by integrating the Staub Cranial technology to complete the department. The department opened in January of 2009, and the response has been incredible. Many Doctors have said “I wish you would have opened this up years ago.” That’s about as good as it gets!
