Meet Our Staff

Paul Zoch attended North Hennepin Technical College for dental laboratory technology. He started JacksonFairmont Dental Laboratory in 1980 and became a CDT in 1996. In March 2001, he became a PTC certified trainer in ceramics. Paul has perfected his skills through numerous hours of training and has attended seminars throughout the United States. He has extensive knowledge of ceramics, metal free restorations, and implants.

Karen Zoch joined Paul at the JacksonFairmont Dental Laboratory in 1983. She received a nursing degree from Rochester Vocational College and continued her education at Worthington Community College where she took several accounting courses. Aside from helping Paul create the strong company JacksonFairmont Dental Laboratory is today, she is the account manager.

Christy Selbrade, General Manager, has been with JacksonFairmont Dental Laboratory for over 14 years. She worked as Director of Training and Education until becoming the General Manager in 2008. In 2001, Christy became a PTC certified trainer in crown and bridge. She is proficient in every area of crown and bridge. Christy has a Bachelor of Science in General Management and Business Administration from Minnesota State University-Mankato.

Jeremy Stauffer, the lead ceramist/implant technician, has been with JacksonFairmont Dental Laboratory for over 11 years. He has perfected his skills through continuing education courses, which include LVI neuromuscular training, 3M master porcelain building and contouring, Vident porcelain to titanium, and Darby porcelain to zirconia. In addition, Jeremy has been personally trained by Trevor Laingchild for diagnostic wax ups. He has extensive knowledge of all implant systems and is available for case consultations.

Kurt Jans, lead ceramist, graduated from North Hennepin Technical College in 1984 and became a certified dental technician in 1997. He was JacksonFairmont Dental Laboratory’s first employee and is known as “Mr. Empress”. He has received training from Trevor Laingchild in advanced esthetics, as well as various continuing education seminars.

Matt Brown, lead metal technician, has been with the JacksonFairmont Dental Laboratory for over 18 years. Matt is a PTC trained technician and has received extensive training both inside and outside the laboratory. He has attended numerous seminars, including seminars at Biogenics on laser welding.

Melanie Koehler, lead waxer, has been with JacksonFairmont Dental Laboratory for 12 years. Melanie has received training inside the laboratory through PTC and outside the laboratory through several seminars, including Trevor Laingchild’s Aesthetic Diagnostic Wax Up course.

Jessica Weisbrod has been with JacksonFairmont Dental Laboratory for 5 years, and works in the preparatory department. She has received extensive training through on in-lab training program.

Gary Pericak, lead removable technician, has been with JacksonFairmont Dental Laboratory for 3 years. He began his career with the United States Air Force in 1973. He is a certified Staub Cranial Technician. He has taken extensive training in full denture fabrication, Swissdent, lingualized occlusion, and personal training in neutral zone dentures by Doctor Joseph Massad.
